We feed our babies, Science Diet Puppy Food, GNC Weening Formula, Cottage Cheese, Beneful Chicken, Nitro Wet Puppy Food, and American Made Dog Chews.

We suggest only American made and/or sourced treats.  

We also cannot stress the absolute importance of not changing a Yorkshire Terrier‘s diet. Always, if a change is needed, so it gradually. This bred has an extreme intolerance to changes in their diet. Also, note, table food does them more harm than good. 

We provide all our babies with chews from day one. If they do not have the proper chews, not only as a puppy but also as adults they will chew what is available. 

We are NC Yorkies, breeders of healthy AKC Yorkshire Terriers since 2016, and breeding AKC since 1985. Located in the country between Hickory and Blowing Rock @ 5740 Rocky Mount Road Granite Falls NC. Our dedication to our family of dogs is to raise quality bred Yorkies in a home environment.

Our dogs are never kept in kennels, they never wear collars, harnesses only, are kept up to date on shots, docs, and dews. We take them out daily to run free and enjoy the sun, play ball and eat grass.

We have five girls that are our pets and family members:  Ally, Bell, Ariel, Sheba and Simba; that live with us.

Our second goal is perfect placement. We are extremely dedicated to placing our babies in the most loving and stable homes. Yorkies bond for life and they need to be placed in a home and with a family to be there forever.

Our third goal, to be there for you and your puppy for life. If for any reason you cannot keep your baby, either temporarily or permanently due to a life change, we guarantee to take back and car for your puppy, no matter the distance we must travel to do so.

We promise to advise and mentor throughout the life of the dog, to help any time of day or night.

These dogs are smart and have specific characteristics as a breed and we urge you to read up on their personalities, pros and cons in making your decision to add a yorkie to your family. This is not a decision to make lightly.

Having a yorkie in your family is an amazing life change and can enhance not only your life but your life span. They can help you mentally and alert you to things that may need attention. The list is endless on all the ways your life will be changed for the better when the right breed is added to your home.
